A FELLOWSHIP/CONGREGATION HAS BENEFITS PROVEN BIBLICALLY AND SCIENTIFICALLY.
Ecclesiastes 4:9-12
9 Two are better than one,
    because they have a good return for their labor:
10 If either of them falls down,
    one can help the other up.
But pity anyone who falls
    and has no one to help them up.
11 Also, if two lie down together, they will keep warm.
    But how can one keep warm alone?
12 Though one may be overpowered,
    two can defend themselves.
A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.

Security: Few people would want to stand alone. People get reassurances from interacting with
others and being part of a congregation/fellowship
Status: Belonging to a fellowship /congregation that is viewed as important by others provides recognition and status
for its members.
Self-esteem: A fellowship/congregation can increase people’s feeling of self-worth.
Power: Fellowships/Congregations are a vehicle for fulfillment for people with high power need.
Goal achievement: In fellowships/Congregations, people work towards their own goals and those of the whole body. Pooling of talents, Personal Economic growth, Management of community
resources, Problems solving, knowledge and power to accomplish a task/goal.
Psycho social support- support for the emotional and social aspects of a person’s life so that they
can live with hope and dignity.
