This verse takes us back to the beginning and reveals something powerful: Jesus is not just a messenger from God; He is God revealed. The Word is not an idea, a sound, or a written text alone. The Word is a person — Jesus Christ. When God wanted to make Himself known, He did not only speak words; He became the Word. Everything God wants you to know about His nature, His love, His power, and His will is expressed through Jesus. This means when you read Scripture, you are not reading empty letters. You are encountering Christ. The Word carries life because Jesus is life. The Word carries truth because Jesus is truth. The Word carries authority because Jesus is God. Many people want God’s voice without God’s Word. But you cannot separate God from His Word. To know the Word is to know Jesus. To ignore the Word is to ignore Him. If Jesus is the Word, then your relationship with Scripture reflects your relationship with Christ. The closer you are to the Word, the closer you are to Jesus. --- 🔥 Declarations I declare that Jesus Christ is the living Word of God, in the name of Jesus. I declare that the Word of God brings light, life, and clarity into my life, in the name of Jesus. I receive understanding and revelation as I encounter Christ through His Word, in the name of Jesus. The Word of God works powerfully in me, because Jesus lives in me, in the name of Jesus. --- 🛠 Practical Application Today, honor the Word as more than text. Read the Bible with expectation Listen for Jesus as you read Apply what the Word says, not just what it sounds like Every time you open the Word, you are meeting with Christ. --- 🙏 Prayer Father, thank You for revealing Yourself through Jesus, the living Word. Open my heart to understand Your Word deeply. Let Your Word shape my thoughts, guide my steps, and transform my life. As I encounter the Word daily, let me encounter Jesus more clearly.
