Series: Jesus
Topic: Jesus the Center

Scripture:
“Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”
— John 14:6 (KJV)

Reflection

This statement by Jesus is not a suggestion — it is a declaration of absolute truth.

Jesus did not say He would show the way. He said He is the way.
He did not say He teaches truth. He said He is the truth.
He did not say He gives life. He said He is the life.

This means Christianity is not first a system, a philosophy, or a set of moral rules. It is a person-centered faith. Everything begins, continues, and ends with Jesus.

When Jesus is at the center, direction becomes clear. Confusion fades because the way is not something you search for — it is Someone you follow. Truth is no longer relative, and life is no longer empty or self-sustained.

Any faith, pursuit, or spirituality that removes Jesus from the center loses its power and accuracy. Access to the Father is not earned by effort or religion; it is received through relationship with Christ.

Today’s verse confronts divided devotion. Jesus cannot be an addition to your life — He must be the center of it.

Declarations

I declare that Jesus Christ is the center of my life, in the name of Jesus.
I declare that I walk in clarity because I follow the Way, in the name of Jesus.
I declare that truth governs my decisions because Christ lives in me, in the name of Jesus.
I receive the life of God and access to the Father through Jesus alone, in the name of Jesus.

๐Ÿ›  Practical Application

Today, realign your life around Christ.

Examine areas where Jesus may have been sidelined

Make decisions based on His Word, not convenience

Intentionally invite Jesus into your plans, thoughts, and priorities

When Jesus is the center, everything else finds its place.

Prayer

Father, thank You for giving me access to You through Jesus Christ. I acknowledge that He is the way, the truth, and the life. Help me to place Him at the center of all I do — my decisions, my desires, and my direction. Let my life reflect Christ clearly. In the name of Jesus, Amen.

Thought for Today

Is Jesus truly at the center of your life — or just a part of it?

When Christ is central, life becomes aligned.
