Are You Spirit Filled?
Are you Spirit filled?
… I’m asking you today…
… do you have the power…
To be successful in the fray?
Is prayer, faith, & obedience…
… a garment that you wear…
… do you have a drive & purpose…
… to glorify our Lord?

All this can be summed up…
… and simply stated thus:
Does God Have
… His way & will in us?

Do you search His word…
… for the requirements…
… you must meet…
Or simply use His name
… while living in defeat?
Does your life show growth…
… as worldliness… you leave…
… do you live in self-denial…
Is holiness your creed?
Do you have abiding fruit…
… and others do you lead…
… do you exhibit manifold grace…
As on Him you lean?

We will have our days
When we presume upon His grace
But… habitually…
He must see
A humble walking in His ways
Do you hug another….
… who’s having a bad day?
… do you take the hand…
Of one who’s gone astray?
Do you preach a sermon…
… by the way you live…
… when you see a need…
Your dollars do you give?

It’s not about religion
Or following the rules
It’s a choice to follow Him
As He puts us thru His school
Our heart He sanctifies
As He renews our mind
He carries us so sweetly
As our will is completely changed
His love… is the grandest thrill…
… I ask you… once again…
Are you Spirit-filled?
