John 15:14–15 shows us something amazing.

Jesus doesn’t just give us orders, He invites us close. We are not just servants standing at a distance. We are friends sitting at the table with Him.

Think about that. The Creator of the universe calls us His friends. Not because we earned it, but because of His grace. When we obey Him, it’s not about rules, it’s about love and trust. It’s choosing to walk closely with Him.

He shares His heart with us. He lets us know His will. We get to listen, to learn, to worship, and to follow Him.

What a gift, to not only serve Him, but to truly know Him.
