Many people struggle because they think they must “do more” to be accepted by God. But this scripture makes it clear: salvation is a gift, not a reward. You did not save yourself. God reached for you first. Faith does not mean trying harder; it means trusting deeper. You are not saved because you are perfect, consistent, or strong. You are saved because God is merciful, loving, and faithful. Your role is simply to believe and receive. This truth frees you from guilt and shame. When you understand grace, you stop striving and start resting. You obey God not to be accepted, but because you are already accepted.
