Series: Faith
Scripture:
“But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.”
— Hebrews 11:6 (KJV)
Reflection
This verse is very direct and very honest: faith is not optional when it comes to walking with God. The Bible says without faith, it is impossible to please Him. Not difficult—impossible.
Faith simply means trusting God for who He is, even when you cannot see what He is doing. You do not need to understand everything; you just need to believe that God is real and God is good.
God is not looking for perfect people. He is looking for people who believe Him. When you come to God, He wants you to trust two things: that He exists, and that He rewards those who genuinely seek Him. In other words, God does not ignore sincere faith.
This is encouraging. It means your prayers are not wasted. Your efforts to know God are not useless. Every step you take toward Him matters. Faith tells God, “I trust You even when I don’t have all the answers.”
When you live by faith, you are not just trying to get blessings—you are building a relationship that pleases God.
I declare by the authority of God’s Word that your faith will grow stronger and deeper, in the name of Jesus.
I declare that your walk with God will bring joy to His heart, in the name of Jesus.
Every doubt that tries to pull you away from trusting God is broken, in the name of Jesus.
You will experience God as a rewarder because you are choosing to seek Him sincerely, in the name of Jesus.
๐ Practical Application
Today, approach God with faith.
Talk to Him honestly.
Trust Him even when the outcome is not clear.
Keep seeking Him through prayer and His Word.
Faith grows through relationship.
Prayer
Father, help me to walk by faith and not by sight. I choose to believe that You are real and that You reward those who seek You. Strengthen my trust in You and let my life bring You pleasure, in the name of Jesus.
Thought / Challenge for Today
Are you coming to God with fear or with faith?
Choose faith.
God delights in those who trust Him.
