The Most Hated Thing in the World Today: “The Will of God” There is one phrase that provokes the flesh, irritates darkness, offends human pride, and exposes hidden rebellion in this generation… “The will of God.” Not money. Not fame. Not success. But God’s authority over a human life. Because when you say “the will of God”, you are declaring something dangerous in the spirit: That your life is not your own. That Heaven has a plan. That you will not live by feelings, culture, trend, or pressure. That God’s Word is final. And that is exactly why the world fights it. Why “The Will of God” is Hated The world loves spirituality that has no Lordship. They love blessings without obedience. They love prayer without surrender. They love Jesus as a helper… but not Jesus as King. But scripture says: “You are not your own, for you were bought with a price.” — 1 Corinthians 6:19–20 The will of God is hated because it removes self from the throne. The War Against God’s Will Is Ancient This hatred is not new. It began in Eden. The serpent’s message was not only to make Eve sin, but to make humanity mistrust God’s will: “Has God indeed said…?” — Genesis 3:1 Because the quickest way to destroy a destiny is to make someone believe: God’s will is restrictive, but sin is freedom. Yet Jesus reveals the truth: “I have come that they may have life… and have it more abundantly.” — John 10:10 God’s Will is Not a Prison… It’s Protection The will of God is not God trying to limit you. It is God trying to preserve you. Many people have entered relationships, business decisions, friendships, shortcuts, and secret compromises… and called it “opportunity.” But if God didn’t send it, it won’t sustain you. “There is a way that seems right to a man, but its end is the way of death.” — Proverbs 14:12 Prophetic Warning for This Generation We are entering a time where the world will normalize what God forbids, and mock what God honors. Obedience will be called weakness Holiness will be called oppression Purity will be called foolishness Submission to God will be called “being old-fashioned” But the Word already warned us: “The time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine…” — 2 Timothy 4:3 The most dangerous deception of the last days is this: a life that looks successful but is outside the will of God. Jesus Showed Us the Highest Spirituality The highest spiritual level is not power. Not gifts. Not revelation. It is this sentence: “Not my will, but Yours be done.” — Luke 22:42 And that is why Jesus became victorious. Because surrender always leads to authority. “He humbled Himself… therefore God highly exalted Him.” — Philippians 2:8–9 The Truth: The Will of God Will Cost You… But It Will Save You Yes, God’s will will cost you: friendships you’ve outgrown environments you can’t survive in spiritually habits that are killing your anointing relationships that are delaying your assignment But it will give you what money cannot buy: peace direction divine protection meaning eternal reward “And the world is passing away… but he who does the will of God abides forever.” — 1 John 2:17 Final Word If you want to stand in this generation, you must choose: God’s will over popularity God’s voice over social pressure God’s truth over temporary pleasure Because in the end… The will of God is not the most hated thing because it is wrong It is hated because it is Holy. It is hated because it is higher. It is hated because it is unchangeable. “Your kingdom come, Your will be done…” — Matthew 6:10 May God raise a remnant that doesn’t negotiate with darkness, doesn’t bow to culture, and doesn’t apologize for obedience.
