The Tea Today: Why Your "I Didn't Know" Doesn't Work. I’ve been an outsider since I was a child. For a long time, I couldn't figure out why I always felt "outsided" or chastised by people, until I realized I was born with a gift that the world is terrified of: Discernment. In my latest video, I’m getting raw about what this gift actually costs. When you have a natural-born compass for right and wrong, and you actually act on it, you become a mirror. People don't like being corrected. They don't like the truth. And they definitely don't like someone who sees through the masks they wear. The "Perplexed Card." We’ve all seen it. You call someone out on their lack of integrity, and they look at you with wide eyes and say, "I didn't know," or "I didn't realize." They use "confusion" as a shield to make you feel like you are the one who is crazy for noticing. Here is the Sip: Ignorance does not erase responsibility. Theologically and practically, we are all equally responsible for our actions. Whether you "knew" or you chose to stay blind, you are still accountable for the aftermath.
