Titus 3:3-5
[3] For we ourselves were once foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving various passions and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, hating one another. We were envious, hated, and hated one another. [4] But when the kindness of God our Savior and his love for mankind appeared,[5] He saved us, not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit,
