My professing Christian friend, how do you define Success? do you see it as having plenty of money, or fame, or comfort, living the good life in this world; or do you judge it by faithfulness to Christ and His Kingdom?
I made my choice long ago. How about you? which is it for you? what will your life prove to have been in the soon coming Day of Judgment?
If you live your life according to the world’s standard-by focusing your attention on passing things, you will think that you are living the Christian life and that you are blessed.
I’m here to tell you that it is not so!! But if you have the wisdom to know the temporal and unfulfilling nature of passing things, and if you can focus on eternal things which are ours if you are faithful; then what looks like failure to others, is recognized by you as a great victory in Christ, by the Cross and by the Holy Spirit.
