The Betrayal of The Bride It is painful to my heart to love my Bride who does not desire to be with me. ​ ​ You say Lord, how is this so? Do I not long to make disciples? Do I not read my Bible for insight? Do not I pray fervently for many to come to You? ​ ​ Yes, you do all these things but you have lost your first love. ​ ​ Call upon My name. Desire Me above all else. ​ I am jealous, I want your affection. You are Mine, you belong to Me. I purchased you at a great price, because I have longed for you. Nothing can stop Me from reaching you. But you my chosen people, you must choose Me. ​ Choose Me above all the works I have called you to. When I am known to you, you will have the power to make me known. When the nations know that you truly know Me, you will have the power to make me known amongst the nations. ​ ​ I want to be known. I want to be known by you. I long to be one with you. That is my greatest desire. That is my greatest desire for my Bride. For through rejection you have forgotten your identity. ​ ​ Your work pleases Me because of who you are. Remember, without your identity, your righteousness is like a filthy rag before Me. It is because of who you are in Me, that is what makes your work beautiful. Your authority comes from your identity in Me. ​ ​ When you know Me, and my work is shown in You, that is what pleases me. For when you know Me, My Heart will be your heart. My Spirit will be your spirit. My Burden will be your burden, My Love will be your love. ​ ​ My Bride, you are like a bride that lusts to lay with me but does not wish to spend time with Me. You are in my House but you only like to talk to me about work. But you don’t like to talk with Me. To know my thoughts, to know my heart, to be familiar with my desires. ​ ​ But it is lust, it is of the flesh, so when another man claims he can help you to fulfill my desires, you run to him and lay with him as well! ​ ​ Is my love not enough? ​ ​ I am good, but you treat me as if my love cannot meet your every desire. It is so painful to Me, you cannot comprehend. My grief is like the broken heart of a husband that has caught his wife in the act of adultery. ​ ​ Yet this adulterous wife says to him that by sleeping with another man, she was trying to please him! My people perish for a lack of knowledge. My people perish for a lack of intimacy with Me. ​ ​ For this is something many who belong to Me do not even realize. You do not know you are adulterous. But you do not realize it because you have not spent enough time with Me. You are like a child that opens the door to robbers & then blames the Father when the house feels empty. Do not blame Me for doing things that are not in My will. ​ ​ Salvation is intimacy with Me. But you have turned my greatest work into a high place, an idol. This is the loss of the first love. Loving my work more than Me. ​ ​ Loving my treasures more than Me. I did those things to woo you. I did those things to win your hearts. For I long to be with you, but many of my children have rejected me. They declare my gifts as theirs and then say “ I am fatherless”. You cannot comprehend how this grieves Me. ​ ​ I offer my Son & you have rejected His love. For His offer is to make you like Him, an obedient Son. Radical obedience leads to intimacy. But you would rather be my slaves than my children. ​ ​ I want you to serve Me because I am Good. I want you to do My Will because I have been a good Father to you. This is the good news. But my good news does not excite you. Intimacy with Me no longer excites you. ​ ​ You reject My intimacy but accept My gifts. You have given your love away to other lovers. I hate this. Repent. ​ ​ This is the word I want you to give My people. A people who do not know Me, though many think they know Me. ​ ​ I long to be known. For I am a jealous lover, I do not want My Bride giving her affections to anyone but Me.
