Walking in God's Will
When God gives a direct order to correct or direct someone, who are any of you to tell me I am wrong?
I will not entertain or accept any hypocrisy when it comes to God and His will. I hold myself, my husband, my children, and my family to this standard, and I will not bend or break for anyone.
The Bible speaks of a time when God's people accept the things of this world and expect others to do the same. That is not who I am. I am willing to be mocked, talked about, questioned, and demeaned for Jesus Christ, for none of this would have been possible without Him anyways.
In His Word, He is clear: if we allow our brothers and sisters to sin in front of us or do wrong and do not correct them, we are just as guilty. Our silence is complicity.
"You shall not hate your brother in your heart, but you shall reason frankly with your neighbor, lest you incur sin because of him."
— Leviticus 19:17 (ESV)
"Brothers, if anyone is caught in any transgression, you who are spiritual should restore him in a spirit of gentleness. Keep watch on yourself, lest you too be tempted."
— Galatians 6:1 (ESV)
Whether they choose to accept the correction, or whether you choose to accept that this direction comes from me, or that you don't see it—none of that pertains to me.
My charge is to obey. Go talk and discuss it with God, as me and Him did together.
