30 SILVER PIECES.

Christ was prophesied of in the Old Testament numerous times and in Zechariah 11 he speaks of his anger (sarcastically) at what his people did to him for 30 pieces of silver, and why their actions broke the covenant.

Zec 11:10 And I took my staff Graciousness, and cut it asunder, 'that I might break My covenant which I had made with all the peoples.'

Zec 11:11 And it was broken in that day; and the poor of the flock that gave heed unto me knew of a truth that it was the word of the LORD.

Zec 11:12 And I said unto them: 'If ye think good, give me my hire; and if not, forbear.' So they weighed for my hire thirty pieces of silver.

Zec 11:13 And the LORD said unto me: 'Cast it into the treasury, the goodly price that I was prized at of them.' And I took the thirty pieces of silver, and cast them into the treasury, in the house of the LORD.

The Apostle Judas Iscariot then fulfilled the Zec 11 prophecy by betraying the Lord for 30 pieces of silver...

Mat_26:15 And said to them: What will you give me, and I will deliver him unto you? But they appointed him thirty pieces of silver.

Mat_27:3 Then Judas, who betrayed him, seeing that he was condemned, repenting himself, brought back the thirty pieces of silver to the chief priests and ancients,

Mat 27:4 Saying: I have sinned in betraying innocent blood. But they said: What is that to us? Look thou to it.

Mat 27:5 And casting down the pieces of silver in the temple, he departed and went and hanged himself with an halter.

Christ RayEl was once again betrayed and a covenant broken for such a small sum of money, the cycle of repetition.
