The cost to enter the kingdom of God is death. There is no place in the new creation for anything of the old. It will cost your selfish lifestyle, and cost you to live for your neighbor as you live for yourself... and it is not just saying, "I believe," and saying, "Jesus loves you"... true discipleship is taking the burden of the brothers as your own
