LOOKING UNTO THE LORD — PSALM 121:1–2

Many look to the hills — the heights of human connection, skills, intellect, or opportunity — believing that is where help and prosperity come from. Yet, the hills can fail. Human help can disappoint. Skill and intellect can reach their limits.

But the man who looks beyond the hills to the God of all possibilities will never be put to shame.
Our prosperity does not flow from men but from God, the Maker of heaven and earth.

Connections are good. Skills are important. Intellect is valuable.
But they are not the source — they are only channels through which God may choose to work.
The moment we begin to trust the channels more than the Source, faith becomes sight, and power is lost.

True faith looks away from human possibilities and fixes its gaze on the Lord who makes all things possible. That is the faith that works.
That is walking by faith and not by sight.

“I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help.
My help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth.” — Psalm 121:1–2

Declaration:

Lord, I refuse to depend on human strength, wisdom, or favor.
My eyes are on You — the Source of my help, my success, and my prosperity.
I walk by faith, not by sight, in Jesus name.
