AlphaOmegaEnergy has 'Officially launched' the YWAM BAM FUND, a True Early Stage Startup Venture Capital Fund focused on funding Christian Founders at the earliest stage from the YWAM (Youth with a mission) group of Christians (& potentially other such devout Christians). The current fund focus is solely funding into the Cambodia market though partnering with YWAM in some respect could potentially result in much bigger & even international things, we hope as well, we will try our best to make this occur. *We are not officially part of nor recognized yet by the YWAM org though I have been to YWAM to declare my intentions to do this and they are not opposed to it assuming it's done the right way in right spirit/methods etc which is of course intended.
The YWAM BAM fund Cambodia chapter is an Open, remote only, decentralized VC fund (Venture Capital) which anyone can join and no financial contribution is required, only your sincere efforts to help, or to cheer us on. Please join!
We are seeking the first 30 members, for weekly zoom/google meet calls, and will raise a fund together, in highest ethical standard, step by step.
This is a chance for all founders to learn more about VC as well and contribute to this so needed industry which is crucial to the economic development future of all parts of the world. The VC industry is short by 6 Million VC funds right now and there are only 55,000 Startups funded now, a shockingly low number. We need more founders and people to make VC funds, instead of founding more startups. We need retirees, people from all walks of life, and from all parts of the working world to join VCs. The VC industry is very exclusionist to the other 99% of us and this must BE CHANGED and the only way to do it is to participate instead of only complaining, (though protesting is also needed no doubt at this point)
