As I was in my Bible study last night, God brought this verse to my attention. Before this, the Apostle Peter outlined some things that should be seen in my life. Almost like a checklist to work on to keep growing. He was adamant in telling me In his commentary, Pastor David Guzik writes: "Continual growth and progress in the Christian life is the sure way to keep from stumbling."
I'm always looking to get better. Peter assures me in this verse that as I keep my eyes heavenward, that entrance awaits me one day when I leave the land of the dying for the land of the living...Praise God!
