About Trapezoid
Trapezoid is a Cybersecurity company focused on Firmware and Device Integrity Monitoring for enterprises. Since 2012, they’ve been helping companies protect their devices from potential security threats through cloud security, IoT and intelligent device analysis.
THE CHALLENGE
Dissecting the problem
We teamed up with Trapezoid to enhance their firmware integrity management solution’s UI and achieve a seamless user experience. Their platform was brimming with information and multiple layers of depth.
The mission was clear – improve the UI without compromising functionality. Their Executive Dashboard, the first stop for users, needed a refreshed look that emphasized aesthetics and user engagement.

During the first week, we used a customized Design Sprint agenda to go from idea to validated prototype quickly. This approach allowed us to deeply understand Trapezoid’s pain, their users, and achieve a solution in line with their expectations.
By the end of the sprint, we achieved a functional prototype of moderate quality, which we tested with their employees and users. We gathered valuable feedback that we used to iterate over the following weeks.
THE RESULTS
An awesome dashboard fully functional
Subsequent efforts refined this prototype into a high-fidelity model, complete with polished designs and improved navigability. The transition from a functional prototype to an enhanced design spoke volumes about the synergy between LoopStudio and Trapezoid’s teams.
Overcoming Key Challenges
No project is without its hurdles, and the Trapezoid collaboration was no exception. A server migration during the project posed challenges in assessing the existing system thoroughly. Nevertheless, we adapted by adjusting the prototype to fit the new system, highlighting our adaptability and problem-solving skills.
