About Neon Cyber
Neon Cyber is a cybersecurity SaaS platform designed to monitor and analyze user activity within the browser across browsers. Their goal is to detect risky user behaviors, stop Phishing and identify “Shadow SaaS and AI” – unauthorized software use – to improve an enterprise’ security posture.
The core of their technology is an AI-powered browser agent that analyzes navigation in real-time to flag and block phishing, identity compromise, or unsafe practices. They help companies understand exactly how employees interact with digital tools, ensuring compliance and reducing the attack surface from the inside out.

THE CHALLENGE
Neon Cyber had a powerful detection engine working in the background, but they lacked a centralized platform to visualize that data. The client needed to transform raw logs into actionable insights for executives, managers and non-technical administrators. The main challenges were:

The initial concept relied heavily on raw data tables. While functional for engineers, it was overwhelming for executives and managers. We needed to transform rows of data into a narrative-driven dashboard.


Scalable Architecture:
The platform had to support multi-tenancy (handling different organizations securely) and enterprise-grade authentication from day one.
Technical Complexity
The product deals with high-volume security data (unsafe sites, risk scoring), but the UI had to be simple enough for a user to assess risk in seconds.

THE SOLUTION
Design-first workflow
We integrated directly with Neon Cyber’s founders working as a unified Scrum team. Our approach prioritized a “design-first” workflow, where features were visualized and validated by our design team before engineering began.
This allowed us to move away from the original spreadsheet-style interface and instead design a dashboard that tells a story. By visually identifying high-risk users and flagging specific unsafe applications, we created a clear experience that allows admins to monitor large numbers of employees without getting lost in the noise.
To support this vision with speed and scalability, we architected the platform using a modern, high-performance web framework optimized for security. We backed this with a robust, real-time data infrastructure capable of handling structured release environments. We also integrated an enterprise-grade identity provider to handle complex B2B authentication and “Super User” roles, while implementing dedicated AI processing services to categorize and detect unsafe web activity.





IN CONCLUSION
The Results
We successfully transitioned Neon Cyber from a browser agent into a fully functional SaaS platform. The shift from raw tables to visual dashboards significantly reduced the cognitive load for users, making the product immediately viable for non-technical buyers.
Beyond usability, we elevated the platform’s security maturity by applying LoopStudio’s Secure Software Development Framework (SSDF) and establishing rigorous QA processes. This not only minimized critical bugs but also created a scalable foundation ready to handle AI-driven reporting and multi-tenant growth.
