Moonflower is now 3.7 kilos, and can drag her purple hippo pillow around the house all by herself. She also folds up to a convenient lap size. ^_^

She's home! She's just sleeping in the cat carrier, though. I'm not sure if she's happy-sleepy or sick-upset-don't want to move sleepy. She's got a bit of a puffy eye from playing with her siblings, so the breeder has given her some antibiotics to take.

I need to go to Chadstone to get her pet food (because the lame shop in Mitcham had run out! D:) but I'm not sure if it's okay to leave her alone. She hasn't drunk any water or used her litterbox yet. She'll stay locked in the bathroom for a few days, but I'm really not sure how she's doing right now.

The breeder was nice but not super-helpful. She rang me at nine-thirty this morning to recheduled the pick-up for earlier (freakout number one) and then again to tell me Moonflower's eye was hurt, and ask me if I wanted to delay getting her (freakout redux). And then the petshop on the way didn't have the stuff I needed (freakout 3: revenge of freakout). And then I ended up meeting the breeder at a closer place at more-or-less the same time I originally planned, and baby cat meowed a bit in the car but lay down happily enough, and now she's silent and sleepy in my bathroom and I don't know if this is good or bad!

But I have a kitten! ^___^

Hope this post works, my internet is so broken tonight.

I've now been sick for nearly a week, including all of my annual leave days, lost my voice completely today, and couldn't get a doctor's appointment until after hours. -_-;;

On the plus side, I now have antibiotics. So hopefully I will have a voice for the weekend, because miming freeforms is going to suuuuck. Miss March, stop drinking the green chemicals.

Sorry, this is my first year participating, and I'm kind of slow and flaily.

Hi! If you're here to write about my fandoms, yay! This is the best thing ever and thank you thank you thank you! I hope you love them as much as I do, and have fun writing! This is the important bit. Don't stress, I promise to love whatever story you come up with. :)

General stuff:
I am fairly easily pleased, and just seeing anything about these characters will be fabulous.
I like fluff, gen, romance (het and slash are both shiny, but I'm not really interested in femslash) day-in-the-life, action, good characterisation, vignettes, humour, fireworks, dialogue, cats, introspection, true love and happy endings. (I prefer my romance rather hopelessly vanilla.)

I don't like things that are too graphic, grim or dark (which is not to say bad things can't happen, but just not too unremittingly bad). No main-character death, or excessive hurt in hurt/comfort, please? I also don't like humour that relies on a character being embarrassed, sitcom-style.

In a hotel in Orlando, Florida, just lounging away my Saturday.

Trying to catch up on Gaia, but the internet is super-slow, especially for the sites I actually want to go to. -_-; Weather is ridiculously hot. Hope you're all having a nice cool time back home.

Made it safe and sound despite shenanigans in Auckland Airport. We've spent a lovely day in New York, saw a Broadway musical ('A Little Night Music') and generally got our bearings. I'm already sunburned, but we're expecting thunderstorms tomorrow.

Also, we went to the Outback Steakhouse. Maddy and Mark should not be allowed out in public, we mocked that 'Ozzie' menu like anything. :P But the food was good, in a giant kind of way.

Touristy stuff tomorrow, bus rides and landmarks, oh my.

Actually I fail after all. I thought I was too organised. ^_^;; I have 11 outfits laid out. I should have, like, seven, total. Admittedly some are pure costuming, and most of them are light. But still. Packing fail ohgod.
