Our mission is to provide institutional level trading, liquidity and execution services, backed by technology that is forged in the cauldron of competitive centralised and DeFi liquidity provision.

LO:TECH is a trading business at heart.

In order to fulfil our mission of bringing best-in-class liquidity to centralised and decentralised venues, we have built some exceptional technology and infrastructure.

Acting as a foundational layer in cohort with a deep knowledge of market microstructure, that technology allows LO:TECH to provide several trading related services: Market Data, Analytics and Execution Algorithms.

Our Leadership Team

CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

Tim Meggs – Co-Founder

Tim has 22 years experience building and working in trading businesses, across a bank, a hedge fund and high frequency trading firms. Tim has a deep appreciation for the application of technology within trading and prior to co-founding Low Observable Technology, had built technology first trading solutions to trade multiple asset classes as efficiently as possible. Tim holds degrees from UCL and Oxford University.

CHIEF TECHNICAL OFFICER

Marcus Horsley – Co-Founder

Marcus has a PhD in Maths from Cambridge University and has been doing quant research at tier one investment firms across mid- and high-frequency since leaving academia in 2018. He has launched two successful DeFi projects and likes writing code, drinking tea, losing at chess, and thinking about hard problems.

Alex Williams – Co-Founder

Alex brings a wealth of development experience to LO Tech having spent three years working on high performance trading infrastructure, following 6 years as a developer for hedge funds. He likes learning new programming languages, squash and boxing. Alex has a BA in Mathematics from KCL.
