Green is good.
I have recently put down my cutting knife when it comes to eating. What I mean by that is I have cut meat out of my diet. I have not had meat since January 11th- so yes, that makes two whole days. This is going to be some sort of crazy for me- as I am/was a huge meat eater. You may be wondering why I decided to cut meat out of my diet. Number one, is the animals rights involved with meat production. I am a huge animal activist- but I always felt like a hypocrite. One minute I am heartbroken by something I have read and decide I want to change the world! (I am huge on the fight against animal captivity- sea world, circus etc and now factory farming) but then I end up shoving a hamburger in my mouth. I always knew that if I watched those documentaries showing how animals get treated at factory farms- I would stop eating meat then and there. So you know, I never watched them. I knew they were there- I just chose to ignore that the cruelty was happening. I decided to watch them and of course I was right- it turned me right off of consuming meat. Number two, is my digestive system. I have had a messed up digestive system for as long as I can remember. To this day I cannot tell you why it is so messed up. I have never been able to stick to a diet long enough to find that out. My fault, I know. I have had enough! I decided to both not be a hypocrite and hopefully cure my digestive issues simultaneously. I have been adapting to a healthier lifestyle over these last few days and will hope to feel better in the coming days!
