My fantastic Sir/boyfriend took me on a date last night. We have been like two ships passing in the night since I moved in. It was a simple date really... We went to National Harbor and walked around. There were a few free chairs on the "beach" and so we sat and watched the sun set while holding hands. It aw nice to be present in the moments we had together.

So yeah.... I stupidly happy in love! And at the same time fulfilled on so many other levels....

Earlier today while sitting outside on Sirs back deck, we herd two loud pops. Sounded like fireworks/ M80's. I looked over the rail and saw flames in the kitchen of the house two down from where we were. Sir called 911 and before she knew it I was down the street. The elderly lady who lived there was on her porch, I just acted. I didn't think. I didn't hesitate. I went right up to the house, got her up out of the chair she was sitting in and got her away from the house.
Some say this makes me a hero. Ok, maybe.... I say this makes me human. Sir and I stayed there as 4 fire engines responded, circled the house, extinguished the fire, (smoke eaters and all) and saved the dogs etc. the woman... Let's call her grandma.... Was burned on her face and hands, and taken to the local burn unit.
The daughter, and grandkids who lived at the house are all fine and either in a hotel or with girlfriends tonight. They have insurance, there were no smoke detectors, and who knows what is next.
Thank you to all the first responders.... The police who were first on scene, the Balto. Co. Fire and Rescue, Arbutus Fire, EMS.... Everyone!!!

I know it has been a while since I have posted anything here. Lots has been going on in my world. Many changes for the good. I have found myself able to release the many deamons of the past.
Things have shifted and changed. I forgot what it was to be more than just a girl. I am finding strength in submission. I never quite understood quite what that ment until these past few days. More thoughts on that to come. Just a note to let yall know I am alive and well.... more to come.

Growing up with my best childhood friend, we would watch The Wizard of Oz EVERY WEEKEND..... MULTIPLE TIMES!
Today is the 70th birthday of The Wonderful Wizard. The first fantasy land I could ever lose my self in. The first of many. Tonight I am going to go to the anniversary showing at a local theater. I hope I can contact my friend via facebook and she can go with me. If not I will go and remember my childhood. Knowing all the words and all the songs by heart. It will be a magical time!
