Tomorrow, our class is going on a field trip to…drum roll please…
THE ZOO!
I love the zoo. And the fact that we do it INSTEAD of school is amazing. We are going to the Columbus Zoo, and it has a pretty nice variety of animals. There are six sections at the zoo; Expedition Congo, North America, Asia Quest, Australia and the Islands, Heart of Africa, and Shores.
I know that one of you reading this is from Australia, so I don’t know if you like, see kangaroos every day or if they live in the wild. Anyway, in the Australian part of the zoo there are like, kangaroos, koalas, kiwis, orangutans, and something that looks adorable called the Feathertail Glider.
Also, I got two views from Canada! And one from Finland. The zoo has European animals, too. It has Arctic foxes, grizzly bears, brown bears, moose, reindeer, and wolverines. Cool.
I will take lots of pictures and post them here. We get like, an hour of walking around the zoo with our groups before we head back to the education center, so I will have lots of time to take photos.
Also, this is irrelevant to the zoo, but there are tornado warnings issued for my area. I JUST PLANTED FLOWERS! If a tornado comes through the ONE year I planted flowers, I am gonna be mad. That was hard work!!! Like, tornado warnings are usually fake and don’t result in tornadoes, but if one happens that is gonna be pretty upsetting to be honest. Wish me luck, bye!
