Forklift Operator  – CHaRM Atlanta and DeKalb

Live Thrive is hiring a dependable, experienced, current Forklift Operator to support daily operations at our Center for Hard to Recycle Materials (CHaRM) locations. This full-time, Tuesday–Saturday role includes operating a forklift, managing on-site material handling, and interacting with visitors in a friendly, helpful way.

Candidates must be comfortable working outdoors in all weather, able to lift/carry up to 50 lbs, and confident communicating with the public. Applicants must pass a drug test and background check.

Schedule:

Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays
8:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

RECYCLING CENTER GREETER (PART-TIME) 

We’re hiring a part-time Greeter to join Live Thrive’s Centers for Hard to Recycle Materials (CHaRM). This is an important public-facing role — you’ll be the first friendly face visitors see, helping set the tone for a positive and productive visit.

Schedule:
Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays
8:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

What You’ll Do:

  • Warmly welcome and assist visitors as they arrive

  • Provide basic information on accepted materials and where to drop them off

  • Promote a safe, organized, and friendly environment

  • Represent the center’s mission of sustainability with a helpful and positive attitude

Who We’re Looking For:

  • Friendly, outgoing, and comfortable interacting with the public

  • Passionate about recycling and environmental awareness, preferred

  • Reliable and punctual with a strong sense of responsibility

  • Able to lift and carry up to 35 pounds

  • Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions

  • Must pass a drug test and background check

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in customer service or public engagement

  • Familiarity with recycling practices or materials
