Sulphur, LA
A suburb of Lake Charles, Sulphur is a scenic city that has received National Scenic Byway designation for its Creole Nature Trail, which offers driving and walking tours through the marshlands and beaches of Calcasieu and Cameron parishes. Most students are enrolled in Calcasieu Parish School Board district, and annual citywide events include concerts, equestrian competitions, rodeos, trade shows and festivals. A popular destination throughout the summer months is Sulphur Parks Water Park.
