The second of my wool care tutorials shows you how to use wool wash in liquid form, you can buy many different kinds, there's special ones at the supermarket, various sold online, some by WAHMs that come in a wealth of scents. You can even use a gentle baby bath. It's handy to have lanolin in it, so read the bottles and see how much lanolin it contains - the more the better as then you can prolong the need to lanolise, or if you're lucky and your child is a light wetter, have no need to lanolise separately at all.
I have bought wool wash from Ewe Need It which is just delicious and full of lanolin, and I also have Eucalan which is a popular easy to get hold wash but the lanolin content is not very high. Both of them work, just as the baby bath does, but my personal preference is for the Ewe Need It wash.
I'm beginning a series of tutorials on wool care because it can be confusing for someone new to the use of wool and because I wanted to share how I do things with the various products out there. I'm able to show a range of ways to do the same thing with different kinds of products as I have a variety from trying to find what worked best for me - hopefully this will help you decide which works best for you rather than buying a lot of different things to try them out!
i don't think i have read many of this too - considering i am not into classic *g*. hey, why don't you check my post here and see how many of those that you have read. these are newer publishings.…
That's too cute! As I was reading I was thinking "Oh no, did he stick him somewhere nasty or fart on him".. just my delightful children that do that then?!
