Lisa Call is a contemporary textile artist based on New Zealand’s Kāpiti Coast.
Working with hand-dyed fabric, she creates large-scale abstract compositions that explore pattern, memory, and the tension between order and uncertainty.

Over the past twenty years, she has created more than 1000 works constructed through stitching – painting with cloth rather than pigment.
She works in series, following visual ideas across multiple pieces and expanding on color relationships, geometric structures, and spatial tensions.
Some compositions incorporate painted marks that add another layer of complexity to the constructed surface.
