If you want to join rapidshare as paid or PREMIUM memeber ..wait for a while and see following notes.
rapidshare sucks in following ways. If you files which are downloading frequqently then you can join but if you want use it as online file storage with less rate of downloads then its huge money loss…
1.storage limit of 20 GB (20.000.000.000 bytes) for premium accounts
2.If you exceed this amount for longer than 48 hours, your account will automatically be converted to a Storage XXL account. Files being not downloaded longer than 90 days will then automatically be deleted.
3.suppose you uploaded your music or what ever files to rapidshare and it took more than 20 GB …one fine day you will see data of Nothing because once your account cross 20 GB – rapidshare will delete files which are not downloaded from past 90Days.
4.*** Seervice is very very costly compare to above points.
$10 for 20GB that too no web services only file storage … ?
go for hostgator.com and signup for $7 plan and install free uber upload script and bing !! you have your won rapidshare upload server … that too with A-z web services ….
so think about it. its waste of money ….
