How to install Terminal services for windows xp

As i mentioned my previous post i got few solutions from internet based on DLL copy or patching. All those from un trusted sources and i am unable to install on my sp2 production system. at lost i found solution to enable terminal services on windows xp professional. So here it is “xpunlimited” from http://xpunlimited.com. Its not freeware but kind enough to provide 3 connections for free for ever – thats enough for me. So at time 3 users can access windows xp with out paying anything. Just download it from demo section of site and install it.

freeware iso image creator for windows xp power toy

As you know windows xp having built in cd burning option but it lacks iso image creation. While doing vmware projects i thought that iso creation software will eliminate much pain by making iso images from os install cds. i checked for freeware apart from isobuster nothing found good and secured ones ( lot of adware or spyware)

At last i found free ware windows xp iso image creator  its powertoy = just right clik on your cd drive – you will option to create image  and burn cd to cd – bingo ! so try and it see- it is 100% freeware with no adware or spyware

how to run process in background in windows

how to run programs in windows in back ground i mean  it shouldnot show its windows,output to screen ? in linux we have number of way.

so end user should not know that program is running by seeing windows computer screen. after search i got one tool called hidexec from

hideexec will hide running application gui. it will work for  console software also i mean cmd.

at last i chnaged from windows to linux to install oracle apps 11i

i tried and tried but no use iam not able to install oracle apps on windows xp . let me check my luck onlinux. i got redhat enterprise linux 4 ws and oracle 11i for linux today. as usual many tricks there for linux also !!! ok i am able to cross 1/5 and now in struck 2/5. unable to cinfugure instance. error beating me so i posted in oracle forums about this let me see what they will say.

Remote access windows using web proxy

i want to to access windows pc using vnc from office using web proxy. i can’t use rdesktop as i know it won;t work behind web proxy so selected vnc. But this also failed as vnc Java applet is not proxy aware. so i am in loop. untill now i never used any commercial products to access remote windows server desktop. so iam in hunt ..i saw few but those are non proxy ware. At last i tried remotely anywhere.
Bingo!! it worked like anything it has many features which i never expect. so you can access windows pc running on internet using your pc which is behind corporate firewall. Try remotely anywhere and tell me how you feel. (http://remotelyanywhere.com/)

it removed much pain as i have not much knowledge in windows remote access products.
