Light timer is a very simple visual timer. If you're trying to time something, but can't have your iDevice right next to you, it can be very difficult to tell when time's up. For example, this app could come in handy while working out in time intervals because it enables you to focus on your exercise and not have to worry about constantly looking down at the screen to check the display. Although this problem is solved in most apps by having an audible tone, that doesn't work well in loud places, and it can be annoying to others around you in quiet locations. This is where Light Timer comes in. After setting your timer, Light Timer will flash both the screen and the LED on your iPhone when the time is up. Also, for those who have hearing impairments, this app will be a tremendous help. Additionally, a "repeat" feature has been included for those who need the timer to reset after each flash. This can be helpful if you're doing, say, 30 seconds of push-ups and 30 seconds of sit-ups. With normal timer apps, you'll have to manually rest the timer after each use, but that's not the case here.

Requires iOS 5.0 or later. Compatible with iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch.
