Licor 43
Licor 43 Original is a Premium liqueur produced in Cartagena, Spain from a secret Spanish family recipe of 43 natural ingredients which includes Mediterranean citrus fruits and selected botanicals.
The name derives from the fusion of its 43 natural ingredients, which are used to achieve its unique flavour.
Licor 43’ is a liqueur with a complex, but harmonic flavour profile that can be perceived at 4 levels:
- Citrus: Reminiscence to the lively citrus aromas of Mediterranean citrus gardens.
- Botanic: The subtle spiced touch of coriander.
- Sweet: The sweet palate of mature fruit and nuances of vanilla.
- Floral: Soft notes of Mediterranean orange and lemon blossom, with a certain point of astringency derived from the peel of citrus fruits, smoothed with notes of mature fruits.

- Fusion: In this step we assemble the all ingredients in the exact proportion.
- Resting: Licor 43 Original rests in stainless steel tanks for 6 to 9 months. The exact length of resting depends on the judgement of our liqueur expert.
- Cold treatment: For 5 days we keep the liqueur in a cooling chamber at about -5º Celsius. This way we achieve a perfect, smooth finish.
- Filtration: Finally, we use micro-filters to remove the last small particles and to achieve the characteristic shiny colour.
The recipes of all of our products are a family secret, which is handed down from generation in generation.

Licor 43 does not have a best before date. Nevertheless, Licor 43 is a liqueur from citrus extracts and selected botanicals, which provide our product with fresh notes. In order to taste and enjoy it with plenty of flavour, we advise consuming it in a short period of time after purchase.
If the liquid has been kept in a properly closed bottle with its original closure, and you cannot see that it has lost volume, the liquid would’ve evolved towards an aged liquor, giving tasting notes like “woody” and “sweetness from raisin fruits” that remind us of “sweet woody wines”, which may be to one’s liking or not, but in no case is it dangerous for health.
Licor 43 is distributed in more than 80 markets and can be easily found in major retailers.

Firstly, Licor 43 Horchata is not a cream liqueur; it contains no cream. Yet in spite of this, it is wonderfully creamy in texture, just like the iconic Spanish drink horchata. Traditional cream liqueurs are heavy and filling, but with the absence of cream, Licor 43 Horchata is light, refreshing and easy to drink.

Today, the tiger nut is considered a “super food” with multiple beneficial properties.
Today, the highest quality tiger nuts are still grown in Valencia and it is the classic, traditional Horchata from Valencia that is the inspiration behind Licor 43 Horchata.
