Emerging Trends and Technologies SIG (Formerly: Post-Pandemic New New Normal)

LIBRAS Peer Connections Group

What is Peer Connections?

The “Peer Connections” initiative fosters supportive, non-hierarchical relationships among librarians and library staff across our consortium. Whether you want to share skills, learn something new, or connect with colleagues, we want to hear from you! Your responses will help us match you with peers with similar goals and interests.

The program will run from January through December 2025, with flexible meeting times and formats to suit your schedule—connect via Zoom or meet in person, depending on what works best for you.

We’re excited to help you build meaningful connections within our library community, whether you’re paired with one other person or part of a small group.

How can I participate?

You can fill out this interest form and you’ll be contacted! After completing this form, you’ll receive an introductory email, connecting you with your match or matches. Please notify your library director when you apply!

Who can I contact for questions?

You can email Robin Hofstetter at Roosevelt University at [email protected].

If you’d like guidance on discussion topics, Robin will send a worksheet to help kick things off.
