After enduring months of neck stiffness, shoulder pain, arms falling asleep, and low back pain, I needed to find a resolution for my pain. I decided to start my therapy journey with Lewistown Physical Therapy and Wellness for my overall well-being. Through dry needling, manual therapy, visceral and neural manipulation, and ongoing exercise regimen specific to my needs, my issues have subsided, I am able to sleep through the night without pain, walk without back spasms, and lead a more active lifestyle today after receiving treatment for two months.

I started coming here because of what I thought was a thigh and knee issue, and later finding out it was a back issue. I learned exercises that helped alleviate pain and I keep doing them now, because I do not want the pain to return. I swear Christy has magic fingers! Through her gentle manipulations, I was always amazed at being able to leave the office feeling a huge relief of pain.

I was at the point of needing assisted living but then my doctor signed me up with Christy. When I started, I could barely walk with my walker a few steps. I could hardly dress myself and had to use a grabber to pick things up and to get dressed. Christy started me out with what I could handle which wasn’t much. I could hardly do five minutes on the Nu-step and 1/4 th the way on the track. Now, I can do 15-20 minutes 5-6 times around the track. I walk without my walker and can bend over to put my shoes on. I still have some trouble lifting my legs and wear out grocery shopping so use an electric cart. Christy is working with me for this. I thank her so much for getting me this far.

I am very thankful that Lewistown Physical Therapy and Wellness has kept me out of a wheelchair for the last 9 years. I have gone to both Christy and Vanessa, and find them very, very good at their profession. I have had dry needling, nerve, muscle and deep massage work done with great successes. They give you the tools to help you achieve your goals, but it is up to you to do the work to achieve those goals. It is not easy but worth the hard work. Because of my health problems and condition of my body, I will continue working with Christy and Vanessa to keep myself mobile. I have to be willing to continue to do the work with their help to achieve this. Without their professional knowledge and healing hands, I would not have the quality of life I have.
