We’re a community of independent voters tired of being overlooked. Despite making up nearly half of the electorate, we’ve been dismissed—until now. United by a belief in fairness, we’re making sure independent voices are heard and treated equally.
Who We Are
We’re a community for independent voters tired of being treated like second class citizens in this country. And you know what? We’re doing something about it. Nearly half of all Americans are independent voters these days, but we’re ignored, dismissed, and cut out of the democratic process. We’re sick of it.
This work is hard. How are you supposed to organize a group of people who share only their independence in common? Some say it’s impossible. We disagree. Independents are the largest group of voters in the United States. We’re young and old, black and white, conservative, progressive, and every other political identity under the sun. And we agree on one core American value: every voter should be treated equally.
Many Americans still don’t know who independents are. It’s on us to tell them.
Take 1 minute to tell us why you’re an independent (in a written statement or self-recorded video). It’s easy to submit and every week we’ll feature different stories from across the country
There are now more independents than Republicans or Democrats, but millions of us are shut out of elections our tax dollars pay for. Sign the petition to Republican and Democratic Party Chairs to say loud and clear: What’s fair is fair-let us vote.
