Whether you’re looking for a one-off burst of creativity or an ongoing program that keeps students engaged all term long, Let’s Dance Incursions has something to suit every school and every schedule. Our single-day incursions are perfect for a fun, high-energy experience that students will talk about for weeks, with four exciting dance styles to choose from, including Dance Fusion, Acro-Dance, Cultural Dance and Musical Theatre.
If you’re looking for something more sustained, our ongoing programs include Term Dance, which runs weekly throughout the term and culminates in a special end-of-term concert for parents, and our Christmas Concert program, which brings festive energy to Term 4 and prepares students for a wonderful end-of-year celebration. We also offer Wellbeing Day sessions for schools wanting to weave movement and joy into a dedicated student wellbeing program. Every dance program is delivered by registered WA primary school teachers, aligned to the SCSA Arts Dance curriculum, and designed to bring out the very best in every student from Kindy all the way through to Year 6.
DOTT Allocation
One of the unique aspects of Let’s Dance is that we have experienced dance instructors who are also fully registered WA Primary School Teachers. They are skilled in teaching dance and also authorised to take duty of care, providing your school with the option and flexibility to use Let’s Dance Incursions as additional DOTT allocation for your classroom teachers.
Our Programs
Let’s Dance programs cater for students from Kindergarten to Year 6, ensuring that the dance lessons and routines are appropriate for each year level. Through our dance programs, students will not only learn and engage in energetic dance routines, but also develop important skills such as teamwork, listening skills and coordination.
Curriculum
Our programs address the key criteria of the Arts Dance Curriculum: ideas, skills, performance and responding. We pride ourselves on being run and developed by experienced teachers with a deep understanding of the Arts Curriculum requirements. This ensures that our programs are aligned to educational standards and provide a valuable learning experience for your students.
Assessment
Our energetic Performing Arts Education Dance Programs assist schools in meeting the Western Australia Dance Curriculum requirements as set by the School Curriculum and Standards Authority (SCSA). We provide each school with complimentary observation checklists and simple final assessment rubrics, making it optional for teachers to assess students for end-of-semester reporting requirements.

Our Programs
Term Dance
This engaging program is designed to run for one term, with weekly 30-minute class sessions. Students will learn a variety of dance routines and techniques throughout the term, culminating in an end-of-term concert for parents to attend. This program provides a comprehensive dance experience for students and allows them to showcase their skills and progress to their families.
Wellbeing Day
These special dance days focus on promoting student wellbeing through dance. Each Wellbeing Day offers up to 6 class slots, with each class lasting approximately 1 hour. During these sessions, students will learn a fun and energetic single-session dance routine. These days are a great way to engage students, promote physical fitness, and provide a unique and enjoyable experience for the whole school.
Christmas Concert
Perfect for Term 4, this program has a Christmas theme and is specifically tailored to prepare students for the school Christmas Concert. It also consists of weekly 30-minute class sessions where students will learn festive dance routines. This program adds an extra touch of holiday spirit to your school’s Christmas celebrations and gives students the opportunity to perform for their families during the concert.
