I have semi friends-locked accounts on LiveJournal and Dreamwidth. I consider my Dreamwidth account to be my main journal and I cross-post some of my content. I happily friend on both sites and if I friend you on LiveJournal you'll have access to my locked DreamWidth content via your LiveJournal OpenID. If you're confused, don't hesitate to ask :).
