Yearly audits conducted by independent certified public accountants ensure proper management of resources and transparency at Lesvos Solidarity. Our reports provide detailed statements on the assets of the organization, taxation and fundraising procedures. The biggest part of our funding comes from private contributions and enables us to deliver timely and independent humanitarian assistance.

In our reports there is information about all the activities of Solidarity Lesvos, related to the support of migrants, refugees and vulnerable people. Lesvos Solidarity is a Civil Non-Profit Organization whose main mission is the support of people or groups threatened with social exclusion by carrying out solidarity actions. Our goals include actions such as: Community-based solidarity, dignified shelter and open living spaces, collective kitchens, social craftsmanships and workshops, education, job opportunities for vulnerable groups and actions for the environmental protection.

Lesvos Solidarity has a dynamic structure, however we are a living organism that constantly adapts to real needs and continually improves to maximize our impact on refugees and vulnerable people.

Lesvos Solidarity provides essential support to vulnerable populations and makes substantial contributions to the community, particularly in the areas of housing, education, healthcare and empowerment. Only during 2023 we provided dignified and safe housing to 32 women and children, 820 students were enrolled in our educational programs and 1550 people participated in awareness sessions. Also, we distributed 5.200 food baskets and 1.800 food vouchers to both locals and asylum seekers.

About funds
80% of our funds are allocated to fulfilling our social mission, while the 20% are used for administrative purposes. In 2023 the majority of our funds came from Foundations and NGOs, with the donations from individuals being a crucial source of funding.
