I'm having trouble getting to my settings and messages again. Back to Semagic.
The weather people are telling us we're in for another round of wind and rain this afternoon. I'm beginning to worry this time as there is a lot of flooding everywhere and Lake Lincoln is a few yards away. I can't actually see the lake as we don't own property on it. But, we live in the middle of a finger of land with houses all around and water on three sides. Our house is by a tiny park on an even smaller circle of homes, which I find myself thankful for today. Flood waters will reach all of us if has nowhere else to go, but it will lap at lake front doors before it reaches mine, allowing us a little more time to get ourselves away from here.
