LemurStrap is now available in a long size, as well as the original regular size! The long size is adjustable up to 62" (7" longer than regular), and is recommended for people over 6 feet tall and / or with larger body types.

Functional and stylish baseplate

  • The patented baseplate attaches to the bottom of the camera via a quick release universal tripod adapter while the strap connects to the corners of the baseplate. This configuration ensures that the camera rests flat and securely against your body, lens pointing down and the screen pointing up. The camera is always stable.

  • Unlike with other straps, it won't rotate around your body or flop this way and that. And because the screen faces up, it won't get scratched by belt buckles or rivets on your jeans, and is readily available for fast in-hand editing.

  • Our baseplate design is compatible with major camera manufacturers such as Nikon, Canon, Sony, Panasonic, and more!

Quick release, ARCA style tripod adapter

  • Optimized for secure connection and fast coupling/uncoupling, our baseplate takes ordinary camera carrying to a new level, allowing for seamless changes between camera bodies and switches from strap to tripod to other camera accessories.

  • Attach the tripod adapter to almost any camera and leave it there. Throw the strap over your shoulder and snap your camera into the baseplate. Swing the camera to rest on your back and forget about it until you're ready to get the shot.

  • Our tripod adapter plate is a standard ARCA Swiss shape and size and fits your favorite Peak Design gear as well as major tripod manufacturers. *Note: There are variations in the specifications of "ARCA Swiss" quick-release plates from different manufacturers. Our tripod adapter plate may not be compatible with all other "ARCA Swiss" products.

Quick release pin

  • Easily accessed on the baseplate, press it in and release your camera from the baseplate.

  • Your camera can now roam free enabling you to shoot from a worm's eye view or hold your camera high above your head to shoot. No need to take the strap off your shoulder. Just click the camera back in the baseplate after getting the shot.

Locking cam buckle

  • The cam buckle, located on the shoulder pad, locks your camera into position and keeps it in place so you can forget it's there, freeing you up to use both hands to climb a wall, ride a bike, or eat a street taco.

  • To access your camera simply reach up, unlock the buckle, and bring your camera to your eye in an instant. No more dragging the strap over your shoulder. Unlike other straps, LemurStrap won’t catch on your clothing and slow you down.

Comfortable silicone shoulder pad

  • Subtle and soft, the shoulder pad clings to your shoulder with grippy raised lemur paws on its body contact side. Utilizing our unique patented mechanism, the webbing strap glides through the shoulder pad, allowing the camera to move freely.

  • Getting the perfect shot has never been easier; carrying your camera has never been more comfortable.

Hidden tool compartment

  • During LemurStrap’s development, field-testing feedback inspired us to design an onboard attachment, removal, and adjustment tool. We did that!

  • Locate it by lifting the edge of the rubber hip pad, and find it neatly stored in a custom-built compartment.

    The adjustable webbing tethers attach to integral slots on the baseplate via triangular split rings, allowing easy use of just the baseplate or just the strap.
