Hello and welcome to Lexi's Livejournal!
My profile has the basics covered, but here are a few extras:
1. I write, I chronicle, I fangirl, and I ramble. All of those things will be found here, to varying degrees.
2. I do talk about my real life, but the tone of this journal is pretty light. My job(s), day to day comings and goings, and weirder encounters all come up. I also spend a fair amount of time in Japan, and have plans for future trips abroad, so you can expect the occasional tale of international [mis]adventure.
3. My biggest fandoms are Doctor Who (mostly the Fifth and Eighth Doctors), Sherlock Holmes (mostly the canon and BBC Sherlock), and Dark Shadows (the 1960s TV series). I used to be pretty big on Kingdom Hearts, but not quite so much these days, and my oldest and most beloved fandom is Harry Potter. I also have a few secondary fandoms, including Welcome to Night Vale, Swordspoint and Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, and nurture deep, abiding love for some tiny fandoms that barely exist (Jerry Cornelius or Wonder Boys, anyone?).
Around fandom, I can be found as a Slytherin at
hogwartsishome and a member of Team Poetry at writerverse. I sometimes post fic to Archive of Our Own and have a Tumblr I mostly use to reblog cool stuff other people post. Feel free to follow me there and I'll follow you back!And, finally, it is very nice to meet you!
