Learning goal:
- Making learning plans, gathering resources
- Preparing my learning notes documentation format
- Understanding JavaScript basics & its landscape
Note: Get good introduction, understand its basics & landscape.
Week 1st: Introduction to JavaScript
Jan 2 (Tues):
- Did little review from JavaScript Essential Training course by Morten Rand-Hendriksen (Lynda Library). Took some notes but essentially preparing foundation for Notes taking, and preparing learning road-map.
Jan 3 (Wed):
- Did some online research on simple one page blog with Jekyll and how to setup in GitHub. Interesting stuff but the project suitable after I learn some JavaScript first.
Jan 4 (Thur):
- Came across Learning JavaScript tutorial in Zell Liew’s blog. Zell has a very inspiring way of writing his posts and I found some good learning tips relevant for me and jut-down into a post for my easy archive.
- The post will help to outline my learning road map.
Jan 5 (Fri):
- Worked on transferring Girl Develop It Learning Notes to my Learn Code site.
- I am still assessing the core effective logical learning road map for me. It appears that W3schools JavaScript tutorial is very exhaustive and nicely structured as well.
- Continue tomorrow and complete it.
Jan 6 (Sat):
- Continue the learning notes transfer, if time allows start planning documentation format.
