52Frames
“52Frames is a Weekly Challenge Photography Project for creatives around the world. Each week, participants have 7 days to go out, take a photo, and submit it to the community. It is this creative challenge that not only improves one craft but also enables you to see the world differently.”
I have decided to join the 52Frames project this year. The albums are posted on Facebook so I am not sure of a quick and easy way to share here on WordPress so if anyone wants to follow along “like” the 52Frames Facebook page to see everyone’s weekly entries.
The first two challenges have been posted. Here are my entries.
Week 1: Self-Portrait, extra credit “imperfection.”

Week 2: Blue

Be sure to visit the 52Frames site to see past challenges and keep up with the ongoing weekly albums.
Upcoming for week 3 is Leading Lines.
Worcester City Hall Fire & Ice Art Show
I am a bit late getting this posted because of the holidays and such but I wanted to blog about it before the show ends.
I had two photos selected to hang in the Worcester City Hall Gallery for the theme of Fire & Ice.
WHERE?
Art Gallery/Basement Hallway (to garage)
Worcester City Hall
455 Main Street
Worcester, MA
WHEN?
The show runs from November 30, 2017, through February 2018.
The Spring show is coming up. The theme is “Rebirth.” I am considering entering again. It’s always fun to have art hanging in a gallery. The shows are sponsored by Worcester Cultural Coalition. If you are interested in entering, you can find more information here.
Sunday Trees #321 010718 & Haiku
thoughts of warm days and
verdant trees fuel fortitude
on a frosty night

Christmas Reminiscent
Little ones with wide eyes
Rejecting sleep with heavy sighs
Anticipation across the nation
Eagerly awaiting an overnight surprise
A sleigh on the roof
The tap of a reindeer hoof
It ‘twas a dream or so it seemed
Drowsy faces behold the proof
Underneath the Christmas tree
No sign of slumber left to see
When gifts are spied, it can’t be denied
“Santa came!” come shouts of glee.

Winter’s Morn
rhythmic dripping of
icicles in winter sun –
a slow morning burn
