If you are looking for an online casino payment service, then eCheck brought to you by Authorize.Net, is an option worth considering. This payment method facilitates payment for various goods and services that are purchased online, via mail order or online. It is essentially an electronic check acceptance method. Authorize.Net also provides the added functionality of allowing merchants to convert paper checks into electronic checks.

In order to process fund transfers, eCheck.Net uses a network called the Automated Clearing House or ACH. A group of financial entities and similar institutes within the banking community constitute the ACH Network. The ACH Network collaborates to enable smooth processing and clearing of these electronic checks. The ACH processing rules are governed by the NACHA (National Automated Clearing House Association) and the Electronic Funds Transfer Act, as well as the Regulation E which was established by the Federal Reserve Board.
How does eCheck Work?
How credit card payments work using Authorize.net
In order to process an application for eCheck.Net, the customer needs to provide necessary personal information along with their banking information. This information is then sent to Authorize.Net, who then begin processing the application, and it is possible to view the status of the account at every stage.
The processing of the eCheck is a simple six step process. It begins with the customer providing relevant data to the merchant either on the phone or over the internet. Once this step is completed, the purchase is said to be complete, however the transaction process has just begun. The merchant who receives the customers’ data then uses the internet to transfer the relevant date to Authorize.Net. Authorize.Net merely acts as a middle man, and this data is processed into more recognizable data for the bank. The Authorize.Net system then transfers the data to its banking system known as the ODFI in order to begin the process of money transfer.
The ODFI in turn turns to the ACH Network to verify that the details that have been provided are legit. Once verified, the ACH Network sends a request to the customer’s bank for the funds necessary to complete the transaction. The amount to be transferred is then withdrawn from the customer’s bank or the RDFI and transferred into the Merchant’s bank account, again using the ACH.

Since the eCheck process is strictly regulated, and all transfers are between banks and this system cannot be used for direct withdrawal of cash, the eCheck system is extremely safe and reliable. The eCheck.Net system also does not require credit cards or credit card details. The system is also very transparent, and it is possible to check your bank account details at any time if there is any dispute over purchases.
eCheck Pros and Cons
Though there are some limitations to using the service, such as the fact that it can process transactions only if they are in US Dollars, or the fact that some banks do not allow merchants to open business checking accounts which are necessary in order to be able to use the eCheck facility. It is also important to note that eCheck.Net cannot be processed in real time. Having mentioned this, it is important to state that there are many advantages to using this system like lower fees, increased efficiency and top class security.

Step-by-Step Guide to Casino Deposits and Withdrawals Using eCheck
These days online casinos tend to gravitate toward modern payment options like eWallets, crypto, instant bank transfers, prepaid cards and similar. However, sometimes sticking with something tested and trusted is the way to go. That’s where eCheck comes into play.
While they might not be the fanciest method on the market, it is still a reliable, secure and, more importantly, well familiar method. If you have any experience with paper checks, the concept of eCheck is basically the same, except everything is handled electronically. The money goes directly from your bank account to the casino, with no unnecessary apps and cards required!
Of course, before we get started you will need to prepare a few things - a bank account and an account at a casino that accepts this payment method. Keep in mind that transactions can take a bit longer compared to some other methods!
How to Make a Casino Deposit with eCheck
When it comes to using eCheck to deposit money into your casino account, the process is pretty straightforward, especially if you have experience using similar methods. However, even if you never used anything you should have no issues getting the hang of it, especially with us by your side!
So, without further ado, let’s get into it:
- Log In to Your Casino Account
Visit your casino’s website or open an app and sign in using credentials you provided during the registration process. You will need to create an account if you don’t have one already!
- Open the Casino’s Banking Section
Once you’re logged in, look for the casino’s banking section (can also be labelled payments/cashier). Here you will be able to find the deposit menu, which can sometimes be accessed by clicking on your account balance.
- Choose Your Deposit Method
As you open the deposit menu, you will get to see all the methods you can use to fund your casino account. Find eCheck and select it as your deposit method.
- Fill in the Required Payment Details
Provide all of the required information, this typically includes things like your name, amount you wish to deposit, bank account information.
- Confirm the Deposit Transaction
Once you’re done entering the information, go over it once again. When you are certain that you’ve made no errors, confirm the transaction!
- Wait for the Transaction to Process
As we mentioned earlier, unlike some other payment methods, deposits using eCheck can sometimes take a bit longer to process - up to a few days. Be patient and wait for the notification (or email) that your deposit transaction is complete!
- Check Your Casino Account Balance
Once the transaction is executed successfully, take a look at your casino account balance and see if the funds have been transferred correctly!
How to Withdraw Your Casino Winnings Using eCheck
The process of withdrawing your winnings is quite similar to depositing, with just a few minor differences. If you used this method to deposit funds into your casino account, you should be able to go through the withdrawal process without any issues!
- Sign In to Your Casino Account
If you aren’t already logged in, go ahead and sign in to your casino account with your email/username and password combination.
- Navigate to the Cashier Section
Upon logging in, look for the casino’s cashier section (payments/banking). When you get there, look for the withdrawal menu and open it.
- Select eCheck as Your Withdrawal Method
When you open the withdrawal menu, you will get to see a list of all available methods you can use to withdraw your winnings. Look for eChek in the available methods and choose it as your withdrawal option!
- Provide the Required Payment Information
You will need to provide information such as bank name, account type, branch number, bank account number. Enter the information carefully in order to avoid making any errors.
- Submit Your Withdrawal Request
Before submitting your withdrawal request, go over all of the entered information once again. If you are certain that everything is correct, submit your withdrawal request.
- Wait for your Withdrawal to Process
Withdrawal processing time using this method can take a bit longer than some other modern solutions like crypto. There’s not much you can do other than wait for the transaction to execute and be patient.
- Check Your Bank Account Balance
Once the transaction has been executed. Your funds should be available in your bank account - take a look and see if that’s the case!

What is the 1990's? I havend done anything online with a check since we were all using dial up modems to connect to AOL. I mean if its somehow your only alternative, i guess you do what you gotta do. Just be prepared to jump through hoops and wait at least a few business days for the check to precess and clear.

Once they validated your bank account, you were good as long as they never caught you slipping more than once. I think I ended up getting that feature revoked.PokerStars, I miss you.

Show moredoes anyone actually use this for gambling? I don't use eCheck for my online gambling because its processing times slow me down. The delay in fund clearance means I often miss betting opportunities. I prefer payment methods that offer near-instant transfers to keep my game experience seamless.

I have yet to find a casino that will accept an E-Check deposit with no issues. The last time I attempted this was at inetbet with an $80 deposit from my barclay's savings account. They credited the deposit immediately. I actually won a couple hundred and then attempted a withdrawal. Rather than accepting my withdrawal, they closed my inetbet account immediately. Apparently I had to wait 2-3 days for the funds to clear before they would allow a withdrawal. They could have just said that instead of closing my account but you know... Anyways, I would pick literally any other method of deposit over this. It would be incredibly nice if it worked properly but it just allows too much uncertainty for both the casino and the players. 1/5 stars.
Show moredoes this method even work? i never see an option for checks to be used as a depositing method. and is it only for deposits, cause i never see a withdrawal method via check either. also, i’m sure it takes a bit longer, maybe long af actually, but so which casinos accept this? cause none are listed above

The convenience of transferring funds directly from my bank account is a huge plus, and I appreciate that it feels secure. Deposits are usually quick, but I’ve noticed that withdrawals can take a bit longer than I’d like. Still, the ease of use and the ability to track my transactions easily makes it worthwhile. Overall, I’m happy with my experience and would recommend eCheck to others!

For E-checks, they would take you to a secure page asking you for your personal account information (Account #, NOSCCATT, 3 digit institution number and so on). As I haven't used this method is years I don't remember if funds are instant or they take days. Just the only option I would still like to have despite the "other" options available.
