I am Layla Todd, a twenty three-year-old word witch and poetess passionate about life where it intersects with writing and the dreamscapes lost in between.
I am grew up unschooled in the rural Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia, and am currently studying Creative Writing and Film & Television at the University of Arizona in Tucson.

A Writer’s Guide
I share my knowledge of writing in creative writing guides aimed at helping writers learn to focus, refine, and market their writing. You’ll also find writer’s lifestyle and fashion posts, and you can expect to see further guides on clothing and lifestyle appear here as I move forward.
Poetry
I use poetry as a form of exploration, healing, and expression. I also enjoy expressing ideas and thoughts on mainstream topics by way of poetry and short stories instead of writing longer articles. Responding to current news events or historical moments through poetry is both healing and interpretive, and offers deeper meaning to readers than a simple opinion piece.
