EKG
This 20-hour program is designed to meet the needs of students who wish to develop the ability to identify normal and abnormal EKGs, both at rest and during exercise, while also providing an overview of heart anatomy, function, and neurophysiology.
Modalities
- The electrical Conducting System
- Anatomy of the heart and the cardiac cycle
- Properly Prepare a subject for a 12-lead EKG
- Basic Understanding of Cardiac Muscle contraction
- Basic understanding of EKG interpretation involving the recognition of most common abnormalities.
