My feet are cold
So we're finally into October. Which I just realized may actually be my favourite month of the year, despite it having my least favourite holiday as part of it. And no, before you ask, it isn't because it also holds my birthday.
The weather is cooler, something I really appreciate after this massively too-warm summer. You can still get out and do things, but not melt or freeze while you do them. You can snuggle under warm fuzzy things (or with warm fuzzy things like kitties) and not melt away. You gain an extra hour of time. For Canadians, we have Thanksgiving, so lots of turkey and pies. I do so love a good pie. Plus most people don't try to take October vacations so it's easy to get time off to do a week in NYC like I am this year. So yes, YAY fall!
I'm hoping this also inspires me to do some more reading. I'm behind on my goals, and I don't like that. I have shelves of great looking things to read and never seem to pick them up. I blame my resurgeance in watching television. DAMN TV! What are you all watching still? I went from 30+ hours a week to under 10 . . . and still feel like it's too much!
