Raised in Northeast Ohio, Laura Yeager Smith earned a BS in Interior Design from The Ohio State University and gained experience with leading firms in Columbus, San Francisco, Virginia, and Naples before returning home to found Laura Yeager Smith Home & Design in 2013. Known for her professional, collaborative, and process-driven approach to high-end residential interiors, Laura leads renovations, new construction, and full-home furnishings with a steady focus on authenticity and a detail-forward client experience. Her work is defined by balanced scale and the thoughtful juxtaposition of materials, creating interiors that feel classic, comfortable, and quietly elevated. Entrepreneurship energizes her as much as design itself, shaping her perspective on strategy, brand, and the business of home. Outside the studio, she finds inspiration in gardening and the rituals of living well, often expressed through the curation and storytelling of SMITHS CURATED.

Meredith earned a BS in Interior Design from University of Cincinnati. She has lead projects throughout the United States and over seas. Her experience gives her extensive knowledge of the design process from a practical perspective. Responsible for construction documentation and administration, Meredith is a skilled and precise Project Manager. Her hand sketches and renderings portray the technical artistry of design while clearly conveying concepts to our clients.

Heather joins the team with nearly a decade of experience in the industry and holds and Interior Design degree from Kent State University. She is passionate about facilitating the perfect selection for clients’ individual design style and has extensive knowledge surrounding all things tile.

Lindsay joins our team after earning her BA in Interior Design from The University of Akron. She manages projects to completion and ensures that everything is on point. Lindsay has great communication skills and solid attention to detail. She keeps projects moving forward and on target.

Jaclyn joins the team with experience in residential project management, office management, and tile sales. Her diverse background in the Interior Design industry gives Jaclyn a great foundation for managing the fine details of projects. Jaclyn earned a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design from Bowling Green State University.

Jaclyn joins our team with a BA in Interior Design from Kent State University. Her background in commercial space planning translates well to the technical planning in residential design. She works closely with our design team to assist with design documentation, creating presentations and assisting with installations.

Dominique Evans joins the LYSHD team having earned a BS in Interior Design from Lawrence Technological University, a Masters of Business Administration from Ursuline College and experience in the residential design industry. Her disciplined approach acquired as a collegiate athlete translates to project management seamlessly, and her desire to learn and grow as a designer is contagious.

Michelle joins the team with years of experience in both corporate business and community service. She keeps our studio running smoothly while warmly welcoming clients and coordinating schedules.

Ashley earned an Associate of Applied Business in Corporate Accounting from Stark State University, graduating with distinction. While maintaining her 4.0, she learned the ropes at LYSHD and has become an integral member of our team. Ashley has practical experience working around the world.

Christy earned a BS in Business Administration with a focus in Operations Management from The Ohio State University. During her time at OSU, Christy gained valuable experience through internships and projects focused on strategic planning and management. Christy is passionate about optimizing procurement processes and building strong supplier relationships.

Erin earned a BS in Athletic Training with a concentration in Sports Medicine from Mount Union College, graduating Cum Laude. She utilizes her meticulous organizational mind while expediting client orders and installations. Erin also manages our Designer Trade Program.
