This is (will be) a tool to generate audio tracks for animations done in various 3D CG packages (like Blender, 3ds Max® and others). Program will provide means to mix sounds with precise timing, panning and attenuation into Ambisonic audio stream. This stream will be available for JACK transport streaming, so it can be decoded to any common format (stereo, 5.1 or the like) and post-processed if desired.
One of programs main features is ability to link a sound emitter to an 3D space object, which will take care of panning and attenuation of sound according to it's relation to (virtual) camera (i.e. it will spatialize sounds). This tool is meant for 3D artists and Foley artists.
This exact program will be the core processing (a back-end) taking input from scene file and it's own project file in XML format.
The scene will be provided by the CG package, whereas the XML project file can be created by independent GUI tool (or by hand as well).
